Too much A & E

Well it started out with me calling my husband a "hoarder". But then the other night, I was in bed watching the "Criminal Minds Marathon". During the third episode, I started getting alittle scared. It was a real edge of your seat episode. During one of the commercials, I started hearing noises coming from down stairs. I tried to jostle my husband awake but he was snoring away. Awww, there it was again. I looked towards the hallway and I could have sworn the unsub from the movie was staring at me. I turned off the TV and eventually fell asleep. The next day, I'm watching "Intervention", and I'm balling my eyes out with the family of the alcoholic.

I'm a mess, I need to change the channel.

Snowed In With Style

The other day we had a big snow storm. During the two day storm, my employer was worried that not enough people would make it into work the next day, decided to put a few of us up in the hotel down the street. I was one of the chosen to stay at the hotel. We were given $25.00 for dinner. I had the $10.00 cheeseburger, $3.00 fries and for desert, the $8.00 margarita. There was just enough left for a tip. I went up to my room and called my hubby. I said honey, I have two great big beds, I don't know which one to sleep on. Honey, I have the remote control. LOL Honey, I turned the heat up to 78 degrees (I'm always cold) He said, 'sounds like your getting too spoiled there. It was great! No one was snoring that night but me, and I slept right thru it.

Great Night Out

My husband and I went out with some friends (jovi girl & Bill) last night to see this really cool band. The band is called "BROTHER" I have always been a big fan of Journey and I was heart broken when Steve Perry left the band. Guess what? The lead singer in the band sounds so much like Steve Perry. I almost peed my pants when I first heard him sing a Journey song. Yeah! I have found the band I have been looking for. And the lead singer also sounds like Bon Jovi, jovi girls idol. LOL We were probably they're biggest fans last night. We were clapping, dancing, whistling, singing. You name it. It was so much fun.

We are going to see them again this Saturday. I can't wait!!!!!

Embarrassing Moment

The most embarrassing thing happened to me today. I was walking from the parking lot to work and I felt something on my leg. It was slowly creeping down my pant leg. My face got real red and I thought to myself, "please don't be what I think it is." There were people all around me as I hurried to the bathroom, praying that they wouldn't fall out my pant leg. In the bathroom stall I pulled them out, sure enough it was a pair of underwear that I wore the other day when I had the pants on for a few hours. How embarrassing, now what was I supposed to do with a pair of dirty underwear. Uugh! I didn't want to put them in my purse and I didn't want to throw them away. They were practically brand new. So in my coat pocket they went. Yuck!

As soon as I got to my desk, I called my husband and told him the story, I told him it was all his fault because he is the one who told me I could wear pants a couple of times before I wash them.

Tortuous Niceness

Every day we experience a torrent of unreasonable expectations and outrageous demands, especially those we place on ourselves. I decided for a New Year's resolution this year I would do something different. Instead of going on the usual diet and exercise, giving up coffee, pop, candy, etc, I decided to get in touch with my inner self and break the habit of "Tortuous Niceness."

No more giving, giving and more giving. Even giving away gifts that I had received. I decided to turn up the volume on the little voice inside my head that's whispering, "I don't think so!" when I want to start giving too much.

I will still be nice, but not "Tortuous Nice."
